It’s Snowing!

Hey Everybody,

I’m watching huge, slow snowflakes land on the tree limbs behind my house, and I’m praying that the temperature will drop sufficiently to make the snow stay for a while. I’ve milk, sugar, and vanilla, so I’m set for food if the snow continues to accumulate. It’s one of life’s great pleasures.

Okay, here’s an update…. Kay is completely finished with her cancer treatments and she is doing WONDERFULLY. We were amazed at her stamina throughout the radiation treatments (not to mention the chemotherapy) and her smile never waned. What a trooper. She’s more beautiful than ever!

My mom was sick at Christmas but she is doing great, too. Our lives were so busy that Christmas almost slipped by unnoticed – and that’s quite a feat for me! We’re just thankful that the tough events have ended well.

I’m gearing up to join the Homecoming artists next week for the first weekend of the spring tour. What fun that will be – sharing a stage with friends. I still can’t believe I get paid for that.
