Here Come the Horses

Hey Everybody,

Kay saw her oncologist today and they are suggesting a 12-week regimen of chemotherapy. The good news is that they do not want to use Adriamycin (the Red Devil), but Taxotere, a kinder, gentler med. While disappointing, I know that this is very do-able, and I assured her that she’d be the best patient he’d ever had. She may begin on Monday.

Thank you for your inquiries, and thank you for your continued prayers. This, too, shall pass.

Mighty Meds

Hey Everybody,

It’s Friday morning and John and I are gearing up for another busy day. Before we get started I wanted to update you on the latest news from Kay. (Thank you for all of your inquiries!)
