We ship via the United States Post Office. Our rates cover postage, and shipping material.

Express Mail (expedited shipping)
Express Mail is the ONLY shipping option offered by the Post Office with a guaranteed delivery date. As a general rule, major cities are overnight by 3 pm and rural areas are 2 day delivery. Please use the comments field during checkout to request Express Mail and grant permission to add the additional shipping fee.

Express Mail requires a signature upon delivery, if you wish the signature requirement waived, please say so in your comments (waiving the signature voids the insurance).

The cutoff time for us receiving your order is 12:00 noon eastern time to ship out the same day. Rates start at $18.00 and typically do not exceed $27.00. If you would like a detailed quote prior to our processing your order please leave a number where you can be reached during normal business hours. If we are unable to contact you by 12:00 noon eastern time, your order will unfortunately not make that days shipment, so please plan accordlingly. FAQ's

1. How is my product shipped?
We use the services of the United States Post Office. Of the 3 options below, ONLY Express Mail offers a guaranteed delivery date. Economy Mail and Priority Mail are only AVERAGES and could take longer to arrive in your mailbox.

1. Economy Mail - On average - 5 to 10 day delivery.
2. Priority Mail - On average - 2 to 3 day delivery
3. Express Mail - 1 or 2 days depending on address

2. Is my shipment Insured?
No. Insurance is available for only $1, however, our customers have made it very clear they want the least expensive shipping option available which is why Insurance is NOT included in the basic shipping fee.

3. OK, so what happens if my package is Lost, Damaged, or Stolen?
If you did not purchase shipping insurance - You Lose!

4. Isn't the insurance thing just another way for you to collect some extra money?
I wish. The insurance fee goes to the shipper, not us - sigh.

5. You sold me, how do I purchase the Inurance?
Simply place in the comments field during checkout that you would like to purchase insurance. We will add the additional $1 to your shipping fee.

6. Tell me more about the Express Mail option.
Express mail STARTS at $18.00 (insurance is included) and offers a guaranteed delivery date of either 1 or 2 days. Signature is required at delivery else the Post Office will NOT leave the package at the destination. You can choose to "waive the signature" requirement, however this voids the insurance converage. As a general rule, most major cities are overnight and rural areas are 2 day delivery.

7. How do I choose Express Mail since it is not offered at check out?
Simply place in the "add remarks" section during checkout that you want to use Express Mail and you authorize us to add the additional shipping fee to your order. We will NOT waive the signature requirement unless you state "waive signature" in the comments field.

8. Why don't you offer UPS or FedEx?
Since most of our shipments are less than 2 pounds, the shipping fees for these two companies are almost twice that of the Post Office with no advantage in delivery times.

9. OK, enough already about shipping, how safe is my credit card?
Probably safer than using it at your local merchant. We hear folks state that they are uncomfortable using their credit card online. They will, however, use it at the local cleaners, pharmacy, grocery store or where ever, not realizing that more and more local merchants are using wireless technology to transmit the credit card transaction. Guess what? You are now usng your card online whether you know that or not. Worse, the TV show 60 minutes recently did a show on this very topic describing how many local merchants were not only using wireless transmissions of credit card data, but using a compromised and outdated mode of security (WEP).

We do not use wireless transmissions or even third party billing services. Once you start the checkout process, your web browser is handed off to a secure server (the address field of your browser goes from http:// to https://, the addes "s" means secure). The data passed between you and the server is now encrypted and in the extremely remote chance the data could be intercepted, it could not be read. We then download your order behind 2 firewalls (are your eyeballs rolling back in you head yet?) print your order details then issue a command that zeros out all credit card information in the online database using encryption. This is why you have to re-enter your credit card information each and every time you purchase with us. We do not store that information.

We then process your order using a dedicated telephone line (not wireless) directly to the credit card processing company.

10. How do I determine the status of my order?
Email is the primary method we use to communicate with you; in fact, our store's software uses your email address to manage your account. There are several steps that your order passes through with an email being sent at each step.
A. Pending - Your order has been correctly submitted and is awaiting further processing.
B. Processing - Your order is being filled
C. Shipped - Your order has been filled and has shipped.
D. Delivered - Verification from the shipper (most typically USPS) that your order has arrived at      your specified location.
E. Credit Card Rejected - Self-Explanatory
F. Question concerning your order - we are unable to process your order for a paticular reason.
     A common example is that the Post Office does not recognize the delivery address as      submitted.
G. Awaiting Back Ordered Product - Your order contains an item which is currently out of stock.      Once we receive this item your order will then proceed to Processing.

11. Can I pay by Money Order

12. If I have submitted an order, when is the latest I can make a change to it?
Generally, if you have not yet received the email showing your order status change to "Shipped", your order can still be modified (we have to do this manually). You should either phone us 1-336-342-5090, or email orders@janetpaschal.com with the requested change. We try to get your order to you as quickly and inexpensively as possible, so if you wish to make a change, you must do it rather quickly. We typically process and ship all orders received before noon eastern time the same day with afternoon orders shipped the following day.

13. Why won't you answer my emails, -OR- I am not receiveing order comfirmations from you -OR- add anything else here that has to do with you not receiving email from orders@janetpaschal.com

We do answer each and EVERY inquiry, so here are some suggestions to help you receive those emails from us:

A. You MUST, HAVE TO, GOTTA, ABSOLUTELY ensure that orders@janetpaschal.com is included in your good email list (i.e. buddy list, address book, white list, friends list, etc) all terms used by various Internet Service Providers to prevent our email from being blocked by your ISP's spam filter.

B. Your email address was entered incorrectly (happens more often than you might think!)

C. Your email account is over limits and you are missing quite a bit of email, not just from our store. We see this frequently with the free email accounts whose online storage is not as generous as those with paid accounts. Your email is sent to you host's computer (yahoo, hotmail, MSN, etc) where it waits for you to download to your personal computer, BUT, just because you downloaded your email to your computer does not mean it is erased on your host's computer (unless you have configured your account to erase on download, or erase after a certain period of time). So, your email account on your host's computer just keeps filling up with email until you hit your storage limit whereupon it will no longer accept any more email (your email is bounced back to the sender with the error message "account temporarily over limits")

14. I forgot my password, what do I do?
Your account sign in page has a link "Forgot my password", if you click on that link a temporary password will be emailed to you. This password is case sensitive and must be entered exactly. Use this password to sign in then immediately create a new password through your account management. orders@janetpaschal.com should be in your address book, or buddy list, or white list, or whatever your email account requires to ensure receiving your new password.

As an alternative, you may choose the option to checkout without an account. Simply choose "proceed directly to checkout". This option, however, will not store your purchases for future reference as you are not using the account feature.

15. Can I create several accounts using the same email address?
No. Your email address must be unique from every other email address in our database. It is how the store identifies who you are and how we communicates with you. You do have the option of creating different mailing addresses under your account management via your address book, this however, is not the same as creating a different account.

16. What is a virtual cart and how do I create one?
A virtual cart is a shopping cart where you may place items you wish to purchase at some future date. You must create or already have an account (if you remain "Guest" the store has no way of differentiating you from other "Guest") place the items in your cart then simply log out. When you log back in, click on "view you cart" and you will see that the items are still there waiting for you. NOTE: Items in your virtual cart are NOT removed from our inventory, so if you have a limited quantity item in your virtual cart, this will not ensure that item's availability when you do decide to finalize your order.

17. Why should I create an account, and is any sensitve information at risk?
Creating an account allows you to have a virtual cart (see 13 above), allows you to view past purchases, and makes the checkout process quicker. We do not store your credit card information online, so this will require you to fill in that part of the transaction manually each time. However, your customer, billing and up to 5 shipping address (address book, found under 'My Account'), are stored in your account and will make for a faster check-out process. The information is stored on a secure server, encrypted, and stored below the public access level (Unix) so that access to the data from the outside world is virtually impossible.

18. What is a Performance Vocal Track vs. an Album?
Performance Vocal Track also called Accompaniment Soundtrack, think Karaoke. It is where the lead vocal (and if a duet, both vocals) is removed and only the instrumental and backup voices are left intact. It is for the purpose of allowing another to perform the lead vocal(s) during a performance at church, or wedding or some other similar venue. An album is the traditional record, cassette, CD, whatever, of an artist, you do not perform to an album (at least not in the traditional sense ;-) ).

Janet's online store NEVER uses the term soundtrack in association with an album, the term soundtrack is always meant to mean accompaniment soundtrack and each soundtrack is clearly labeled in that manner if one clicks on the thumbnail picture of the soundtrack and views the detailed description - ex:

19. How quickly is my order filled?
We at Janet Paschal Ministries strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible. Our turn around time for orders is often less than 24 hrs. However, once the product leaves our doors, all shipping guarantees and promises are the responsibility of the shipper. If the order is damaged, lost, or if guaranteed delivery date is purchased and it is not met, your option is to seek remedy via USPS or the chosen shipper, we will be more than happy to offer assistance, but remember, the insurance/guarantee is via the shipper not Janet Paschal Ministries.
